Let Her Get Away
There she was, more beautiful than he could remember. He was vaguely aware of a friend tugging at his arm and trying to tell him a joke but his efforts were lost on him.
He stared as she entered the room, still dressed in white. She must have noticed because she started to blush. Then she began to walk towards him. As she got closer he noticed that she looked truly happy. She looked almost relieved like a weight had been lifted.
She was only a few feet away. She got closer and then her shoulder bumped his as she walked past him. He didn’t turn to look after, he knew she would be holding his best friend’s hand in just a second.
The ceremony had been only an hour before. He always knew that it would be this way, he just wasn’t meant to be the one for her. Instead he was made the best man as he watched his best friend marry the girl he loved. It was almost cruel the way things turned out.
He spent the day helping get his best friend ready for the wedding all the while wearing his best fake smile. When he bumped into her and she asked him what she should do, he bit his tongue. He almost laughed when the priest asked if anyone had any reason why they shouldn’t be wed.
And now he stood there watching his two favorite people in the entire world make out. It was lonely. He was happy for them even though he wanted to cry and scream.
Tonight they celebrated and he forced himself to socialize and enjoy the party. Later that night he slept wondering whether he would even bother to get up.

I feel like if I watched Courage the Cowardly Dog now I’d be much more terrified than when I watched it as a child. Show was fucking creepy.

This episode and the episode with the man in the room were the only episodes that scared me. W-well the man in the room didn’t scare me as much as it just really grossed me out.

This episode made me quit Courage all together when I was a kid
i don’t know what’s so creepy about it now that i’m older, but i do know that i don’t want to watch it again because it is still very creepy
This legitimately terrified me as a kid.
Looking back at it….It’s still fucking terrifying.
